SAP Plant Maintenance Functional Lead Consultant (Architect Level)

Location: Irwindale, CA

Summary Client is in need of an SAP Plant Maintenance Functional Lead Consultant, Who will be responsible for providing SAP PM support to business stakeholders. Support includes assistance with technical system issues as well as business process issues. In addition, Consultant is responsible for identifying and implementing system enhancements, testing requested system changes, and facilitating driven projects. The Consultant will be a member of the technical and production team.
 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Thorough understanding of SAP as it applies to PM data
    • Understanding of requisition and purchase order creation in PM
    • Functional Locations, Equipment, Equipment BOM’s, Task Lists, Items and Plans, MRO’s, Contracts
    • Familiarity with SAP BW Purchasing Reports
    • Ability to listen carefully to internal customer feedback and effectively translate that information into requirements
    • Strong interpersonal skills must be able to work effectively with end users, stream members, cross stream teams, and other resources
    • Strong analytical skills and Experience training others on how to use the system
    • Reliability Excellence process exposure
    • Excellent communication and relationship building skills

 
Education and/or Experience          

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related education/experience.
    • Advanced skills with data analysis and problem solving.
    • Advanced skills and knowledge of technical documentation.
    • Strong analytical abilities, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer facing interaction, customer service, and presentation.
    • Self starter with leadership qualities who can work independently and in teams on tasks and projects with limited supervision.
    • Ability to provide quality business solutions within compressed timelines and delivery dates.
    • Ability to communicate effectively at appropriate levels (end users, factory managers, peers, upper management)
    • Ability to partner with internal customers to achieve results (as opposed to imposing solutions)
    • Ability to generate accurate effort estimates and deliver results on schedule
    • Ability to review functional specifications
    • Able to work independently and communicate risks, potential problems and appropriate resolutions to supervisor
