Summary Summary
The SAP PP/MM Consultant will be asked to work with site functional process owners to implement SAP process and technology change initiatives to improve and stabilize site performance. SAP PP/MM Consultant will conducting training sessions, coaching and mentoring site process owners on the Client’s SAP global template processes, identifying and documenting the required actions to complete process improvement projects, trouble-shooting SAP issues, and communicating status/progress against the assigned tasks/actions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Expert knowledge of the SAP MM/IM module with 10+ years experience in P2P process & configuration.
- At least 4 full project life cycle, from initial set-up of the project to the final delivery of the result.
- Work with the client to analyze requirements, prepare and participate in workshops, requirement discussion
- Map the business requirements into a design solution
- Translate requirements into Functional Specification documents
- Customize and develop the SAP-system in a project team, supported by experts
- Knowledge in the integration points between SAP PP, WM, SD, FICO.
- Expert understanding of Inbound delivery, Purchasing, Invoice Verification, Inventory Management and integration between Production Planning module and WM.
- Expert knowledge of various process areas within MM – Movement Types, Freight, Vendor, Inventory Management.
- Experience in test case preparation, Unit testing, UAT support.
- Experience in documentation and training material preparation

- Minimum of five years of SAP implementation experience as a functional work stream leader, with minimum of three years in engineering / manufacturing environment
- Functional fluency and proficiency as defined in the Role Overview
- Deep knowledge of all business processes within areas of functional fluency
- Good knowledge of business processes within areas of functional proficiency
- Deep understanding of ECC6 capability and structure; full ability to configure solution in areas of functional fluency
- Self-motivated
- Strong teaming skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc)
